Jordan was born in Wellington, OH raised in Medina and has now landed in Oberlin. Before working at State Farm Jordan was a Bobbi Brown Makeup Artist/Skin Care Consultant at Nordstrom in Columbus and an Office Manager for an endodontics office in Medina. She felt that the skills she learned while working as an Office Manager would transition over well into the insurance field and they have! Jordan is our point person for helping our current customers with anything from billing and coverage changes, to claims concerns. She enjoys spending time with her family, working out at the Westlake Recreation Center, and taking her Siberian Husky (Doug) out for jogs. She's also an avid cook focusing on making healthy meals that still taste great and are satisfying. She has a particular knack for Gluten Free baking for folks that need it. Jordan was one of our first team members starting with our office just two weeks after we opened in January 2015. She is an extremely important part of our team!

Dakota Smith

Dakota grew up here in North Ridgeville and now resides in Sheffield Lake with her husband and three dogs. Prior to joining State Farm, she worked in real estate title as an Assistant Escrow Officer, where she partnered closely with buyers, sellers, and real estate agents to help ensure seamless and successful transactions. She has been with us for over three years and specializes in onboarding new customers. Dakota prioritizes educating customers on their insurance options and helping them understand their coverage so they can make confident, informed decisions. Outside of the office, Dakota enjoys spending time with her husband, hosting their friends, and soaking up plenty of love from her dogs. Known for her friendly personality, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach, Dakota is a valued and trusted member of our team.

Nick currently resides in Medina, where he grew up. With a strong passion for connecting with others and helping solve their problems, he chose to pursue a career in insurance. Nick graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Marketing in May 2025 and has been with Jim Cahlik State Farm ever since. He is dedicated to helping customers explore their insurance options and develop a clear understanding of their policies, so they feel confident and well-informed in their decisions. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his fiancée, family, and friends. A devoted fan of Cleveland sports, he loves staying active and being outdoors whenever the weather is nice. Some of his favorite activities include fishing, hiking, playing basketball, walking his dogs, and riding his bike at the park. Known for his high spirits and positive attitude, Nick brings energy and enthusiasm to every customer interaction, making him a valued member of our team.

Although born in Georgia, Barb now calls Olmsted Falls her home. She has been part of the Jim Cahlik State Farm team since day 1! She considers it a privilege and pleasure to have serviced State Farm customers for over 25 years. She has three children with her oldest daughter also being part of the State Farm family. Barb may not have seen it all, but she's seen quite a bit. Sharing this knowledge and experience with customers allows for smooth handling of many customer concerns. Barb is a great addition to our team!
